Open access policy
gta papers is a diamond open access journal, meaning that all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. There are no publication fees (APCs) or any other fees to authors. Each issue is published in print as well as in PDF and HTML diamond open access and stored in the ETH Data Archive for long-term preservation.
Instructions for authors
Authors can propose contributions during to the call for papers posted each autumn on this website. Authors should follow the gta Verlag manuscript guidelines.
Editorial process and peer review
Every contribution receives three reviews: two editorial reviews (one by the journal’s academic editor and one by the managing editor) plus one external peer review. Final submissions are professionally copyedited and proofread by the publisher.
Licensing and copyright terms
Each published piece is licensed as Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. Authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions. When republishing, reproducing, or translating the work, the publisher requests a reference to the original publication.
Issues 1–9 have been retroactively licensed as CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.
